Matt Schulze - Biography

Full Name: Matthew Steven Schulze

Hometown: St. Louis. Missouri
Age: 32
DOB: July 3rd 1971

Height: 6' 1"

Hair: Dark Blond
Eyes: Blue

Matt spent his childhood in St. Louis. Growing up around the rougher neighbourhoods of East St. Louis. When he was 16 he moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Where he began studying the guitar at The Atlanta Institute of Music. When he turned 17 he moved back home to St. Louis, and taught guitar to 65 students a week.

In 1992, he moved to Los Angeles, to become as Studio Musician, but instead he found himself doing both acting and modelling. He once did a Levis commercial, and worked as both a print and runway model for the company, spending two years of his life working as a model in Europe.

After a while he decided he didnt enjoy modelling and chose to focus his attentions on acting. He did several guest appearances in TV shows. Such as Charmed, and Pacific Blue.

He landed his first role in a feature film. Blade (1999) appearing as the vampire Crease. Following on from that, he landed supporting roles in two independent movies, and also in three major films. The Fast and the Furious. Blade 1 and Blade 2: Blood Hunt. And, The Transporter.

He is a songwriter and hopes one day to put and album together.

Matt once auditioned for Guns n Roses

Matt came up with the idea to dye his hair, grow a beard and bulk up for his role as Vince in The Fast and the Furious.

He did the majorly of his own stunt work on TFATF, and gained a honorary membership to Stunts Unlimited

Matt kept Chupas fangs from Blade 2

All those beautiful tattoos are 100% real, each holding a certain meaning and significance.

Matt told the UMSFC. "On my right arm is a Japanese dragon... It represents a mish mash of twisted memories from my youth and early manhood. I have slain the dragon. The rest of my ink are Native American... they represent part of my heritage."
